The national leader of the Turkmen people was awarded the Honorary Badge of the Heads of Central Asian States

The national leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is in Dushanbe on a working visit at the invitation of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, was awarded the Badge of Honor of the heads of Central Asian states.

The award ceremony was held at the Kasri Millat Palace, the award was presented to the head of the Halk Maslahaty by Emomali Rahmon.

 The national leader of the Turkmen people said that he regards this honorary award as a symbol of recognition of Turkmenistan's contribution to strengthening good- neighborly, fraternal relations between the states of Central Asia, support for the policy of neutrality implemented by our country aimed at ensuring peace and security in the region, TDH news agency reports.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed firm confidence that the decisions taken following the talks held in Dushanbe will be an important step in strengthening friendly relations between fraternal countries and peoples, as well as in preserving our unity.
