On September 28, 2023, a seminar organized by the «Turkmendenizderyayolary» Agency was held in the conference hall of the “Charlak” hotel in order to improve the abilities and skills and exchange experience of specialists. The seminar was attended by employees of the economics and planning department of the «Turkmendenizderyayolary» Agency and employees of its subordinate enterprises.

During the seminar, the results of the work done were actively discussed, especially for the period from January to September, and issues regarding the implementation of the assigned tasks were also discussed. Employees of the Economics and Planning Department presented a detailed analysis of the work performed by the agency’s subordinate organizations and the achieved financial and economic indicators for the period from January to September 2023. Issues related to increasing the capacity of the international seaport of Turkmenbashi, increasing other sources of income, and creating favorable conditions for cargo transshipment for clients were discussed.

The marine merchant fleet presented a report on the volume of transportation for the first 9 months of this year. The increase in growth rates is primarily due to an increase in export transportation of crude oil and petroleum products, as well as bulk cargo by stimulating shippers to increase deliveries by fleet vessels, which are distinguished by reliability, stability and preferential discounts as the country's national carrier.

Particular attention was paid to preparations and development prospects related to the “Balkan” shipbuilding and repairing yard. It is expected that the construction of ships at the shipyard will lead to the creation of new jobs. Calculations of monthly wages for future employees of this plant were presented.

At the end of the seminar, the Agency employees expressed gratitude to our Esteemed President for the opportunity to create such extensive opportunities for the development of all sectors of the country’s economy.
