On February 15, 2024, a webinar was held with the International Coordination Council for Trans-Eurasian Transport (CCTT) and the «Turkmen Logistics» Association on the topic “New vectors for the development of Eurasian multimodal transport”, dedicated to the capabilities of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport.

The webinar was opened by CCTT General Secretary Gennadiy Bessonov. The webinar was attended by shipping companies from the Russian Federation, the Republic of Belarus, Kazakhstan and South Korea, members of the CCTT.

During the webinar, the head of the Turkmenbashi international seaport noted the importance of the North-South international transport corridor for the Turkmenbashi international seaport and efforts in this direction, benefits created for transit cargo, as well as favorable conditions for transporting goods by rail throughout the country.

Then, the transport and logistics companies of Turkmenistan “Merjenýol”, “Paýhas ganaty”, “MenoLogistics Turkmen”, “Zehinli ýoldaş”, “Eminli maslahat”, “Tylla nal” presented their activities, directions and services. From KSTP, Russian Railways Logistics, State Corporation RussIranExport, NC KTZ JSC, KTZ Express JSC, Interrail Service LLC and other companies spoke about their activities. Then the parties exchanged questions about cooperation opportunities.

At the end of the webinar, the parties noted that the potential of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport in the region is very high and supported the importance of joint efforts in this area in the near future.
