The Permanent Representative of Turkmenistan to the UN Office in Geneva, Wepa Hajiyev, met with the Secretary General of the International Road Transport Union, Umberto de Pretto, reports the press service of the Turkmen diplomatic mission.

“The parties considered the possibilities of intensifying current interaction, as well as specific measures to implement previously reached agreements,” the diplomatic mission said in a press release.

Umberto de Pretto has repeatedly noted Turkmenistan’s contribution to the development of the global transport and logistics system, especially emphasizing the country’s success in introducing procedures of simplifying international cargo transportation, as well as other measures in the field of digitalization.
