During his working visit to Kazan on Thursday, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, visited Turkmenistan's national pavilion at the Russia Halal Expo along with the Head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, reports Turkmenistan's official media.
The exhibition, held at the international exhibition center "Kazan Expo," featured representatives from nearly all sectors of the economy, including food production, healthcare, industry, fashion and beauty, tourism, information technology, finance, and investment from various regions of Russia and foreign countries, including Turkmenistan.
The National Leader of the Turkmen people and the Head of Tatarstan reviewed original projects, modern technologies, equipment, and materials for industrial, civil, road, and housing construction, as well as road construction and lifting equipment presented by major Russian companies.
The Turkmenistan pavilion showcased products from leading sectors of the national economy, including the fuel and energy sector and the petrochemical industry, producing high-quality petroleum products, polyethylene, polypropylene, various light industry goods, glass products, and various types of construction materials. The exhibition also highlighted achievements in textile and leather production and traditional crafts.
In the pavilion, the Head of Tatarstan was presented with a Turkmen carpet as a gift, and the honorary guests received traditional carpet bags called torba.
As part of the investment and infrastructure exhibition Russia Halal Expo, there were meetings where Turkmen specialists gave presentations on the investment potential of the national economy's sectors.
During the annual meeting of the Strategic Vision Group "Russia-Islamic World" in Kazan, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, proposed developing an Islamic initiative for peace to be presented at the UN General Assembly.
