On 10 January 2022, representatives of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” agency together with representatives of the Open Joint Stock Company "Transport and Logistics Centre of Turkmenistan" held a video conference with representatives of the Romanian port of Constanta.

The meeting focused on establishing cooperation between Turkmenbashi International Sea Port and the seaport of Constanta for multimodal transport between the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the potential of Turkmenbashi International Sea Port and the seaport of Constanta.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed the direction, types and quantities of cargo to be transported between the two ports.

At the end of the meeting, it was noted that there are great opportunities for cooperation between the ports of the two countries and it was agreed to hold regular meetings between the delegates.
