On 15 January 2022, a meeting was held between representatives of the Turkmendenizderyayollary agency and the China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) of the People's Republic of China.

During the meeting, the parties discussed possibilities for cooperation in the field of shipbuilding.

During the meeting a representative of the Agency informed about the work of the Agency and the vessels the Agency is planning to build.

The Director General of CMEC, in his turn, gave a brief overview of the company's activities. The company has a wealth of experience in the shipbuilding industry as well as in other sectors.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed opportunities for cooperation in shipbuilding financing, specialist training and the purchase of shipbuilding equipment.
