During the working visit of the President of Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan, a number of memorandums and agreements were signed, covering a wide range of areas: from mass media and education to transport, energy, culture, and sports. All of them are aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation.

Particular attention was paid to the development of maritime transport. Given the favorable trends in bilateral trade and economic relations, a package of documents was signed designed to stimulate the development of maritime transport and mutually beneficial cooperation in this area.

According to the signed agreement, the fraternal port relations of the two countries will be aimed at coordinating international maritime transport, creating conditions for competitive maritime transport, increasing cargo flows through transit corridors, as well as developing maritime shipping and transit corridors in general.

The signing of these documents is an important step towards strengthening the strategic partnership between Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. It contributes to the development of trade and economic relations between the two countries and serves as confirmation of their commitment to the principles of good neighborliness, mutual respect, and mutually beneficial cooperation.
