Representatives of «Turkmendemiryollary» took part in the 43rd Coordination Transport Meeting of the CIS Member States, which took place at the Russian University of Transport. The parties considered various organizational issues, the press service of the Commonwealth countries reports.

Thus, during the meeting, a decision was made to elect a deputy chairman and executive committee of the structure. In addition, issues related to the development of international transport corridors, digital transformation of the transport complex, expansion of the scientific and educational space of the transport complex, and others were discussed.

Despite certain difficulties, thanks to the coordinated actions of the Coordination transport meeting of the CIS member states, it was possible to maintain the existing sectoral interstate ties, pursue a consistent coordinated policy of the Coordination transport meeting of the CIS member states    to coordinate the activities of states in the field of transport and carry out effective interaction with the CIS Executive Committee on this track, noted Deputy Secretary General of the CIS Ilkhom Nematov.

The meeting was attended by delegates from Turkmenistan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, as well as the CIS Executive Committee, the Eurasian Economic Commission, the Intergovernmental Council of Road Workers, the Council for Railway Transport of the CIS Member States, the Interstate Aviation Committee, the Russian University of Transport, trade unions associations, business structures and others.
