As a result of the sensible policy pursued by esteemed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, our country is now paying close attention to maritime and river transport. On the basis of the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan No.13718 of 21 June 2014 "On establishment of secondary vocational educational institutions in our country", the Maritime Secondary Vocational School of the “Turkmendenizderyayollary” agency was established in Turkmenbashi city.
The Maritime Secondary School prepares professionals in various fields related to the maritime field and other sectors of the economy:

4.Ship repair
5.Economics and Management
6.Accounting and Finance
7.Food Technology
8.Technological Machines and Equipment
9.Maritime Management and Logistics
10. Hotel services and Tourism
11.Environmental Protection and Natural Resource Conservation
The school has classrooms equipped with computer technology, multimedia and demonstration equipment that meet world standards and are connected to the Internet. The school provides general, practical and hands-on training in special programmes. Turkmenbashi International Seaport provides students with an excellent opportunity to explore their theoretical knowledge in practice. Training courses are organized for a special group of students at the seaport.
The school also includes a dormitory, a canteen, a football and volleyball ground and a gym that meets all requirements.
