Azerbaijan is building the first diving vessel with a hybrid engine

By order of the Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) CJSC, the first diving vessel with a hybrid engine system in the Caspian Sea is being built at the Baku Shipyard.

As the head of the ASCO press service, Mehman Mehdiyev, reported to Caliber.Az, the vessel, equipped with two cranes with a lifting capacity of 5 tons, will allow to work underwater at a depth of up to 60 meters.

The vessel, which will be 53.6 meters long and 16 meters wide, meets the latest environmental standards. Its speed will be 12 knots, and its endurance will be 10 days.
