The total amount of cargo transportation in January-September 2023 year of «Turkmendenizderyayollary» agency increased by 119,9% compared to the same period in 2022 year and amounted to 2 287,7 million tons. Generally, the plan for cargo transportation for January-September 2023 year completed by 122,3 %.

On October 4, 2023, company leaders and entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan visited the Turkmenbashi International Seaport on a business visit. During the visit, the guests got acquainted in detail with the capabilities and capacities of the seaport. The guests visited the passenger ferry terminal and cargo terminal of the port and got acquainted with modern equipment that were built by the characteristics of each terminal and the services provided by the port. The guests also got acquainted with the techniques for loading and unloading large cargo at the seaport. Then the guests were presented with information about the open and closed warehouses of the seaport on the territory of the terminals and the services of a customs warehouse, more precisely, that the customs warehouse of the seaport can store cargo and goods for up to 3 years without paying customs duties. In addition, visitors expressed interest in the tariffs and operating times provided by the port.

Development of cooperation between Astrakhan and Turkmenistan
